Feeling overwhelmed, wired, or stuck in your head? This gentle Christian meditation will help you regulate your nervous system and slowly settle back into safety, peace, and the presence of God. 🕊️
In this guided practice, we’ll combine:
Simple, trauma-informed breathing
Gentle body awareness
A grounding Scripture (Psalm 4:8)
Soothing reminders that you are safe, held, and not alone
You don’t need any experience with meditation—just come as you are. This is especially for the anxious, over-functioning, or emotionally exhausted Christian who wants something more than “just pray harder,” but still deeply loves Jesus.
Use this practice:
When anxiety spikes and you can’t think clearly
Before bed when your body won’t power down
Between tasks when you feel flooded or numb
Anytime you need to remember you are held in God’s love
Take a few minutes to breathe, soften, and let your body remember:
“I lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8)
